Becoming part of Medina Marching Band means joining a welcoming, supportive, and ambitious musical community. Whether you are an experienced musician or completely new to playing, there is a place for you within the organisation.

We offer opportunities across all sections of the band. For beginners, the Learner Development Band provides a structured pathway into music, with access to high-quality tuition and the chance to learn an instrument from scratch. For more experienced players, the Main Band offers a varied and rewarding performance schedule, while the Corps of Drums delivers a disciplined and visually striking experience for those interested in marching percussion and bugling.

Our members perform at a wide range of events throughout the year, including concerts, carnivals, community celebrations, and prestigious engagements across the Isle of Wight and the UK. Being part of the band is not only about performing—it’s about building confidence, developing skills, and being part of a team that shares a passion for music.

We are proud to support musicians of all ages and backgrounds. With a combination of professional instruction, experienced volunteer support, and ensemble playing, members are given the tools to progress at their own pace and reach their full potential. Many of our members have gone on to achieve great success, including careers in the Armed Forces and beyond.
